All categories for both male and females are currently open. Membership of the Club provides privileges that are not normally available to non golf club based golfers. For most, joining the club provides the opportunity to pay a fixed fee to play golf as often as they like - there are no additional green fees payable for member's social play at Madang Country Club.

Most also enjoy the unique opportunity to obtain a handicap and play in Club Competitions. These handicaps entitle members to play in competitions both at Madang Country Club and in selected open competition at other clubs.

Madang Country Club has established a number of reciprocal clubs around Papua New Guinea, Australia & New Zealand, where Madang Country Club members will be entitled to all of the privileges of a reciprocal member when visiting these clubs.

Members also enjoy some genuine pricing privileges - members have preferential pricing for Social Golf Fees & Bookings when bringing guests to the club, discount options in the Golf Shop and when using the function room for private functions. The Club also has a number of excellent value member's social lunches and dinner throughout the year.

Being a member of a club has an intangible benefit of "belonging" - belonging to Madang Country Club is an opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of playing our great golf course as well as being able to treat yourself and your guests to the relaxation and hospitality offered in our well appointed coastal clubhouse.

Fee Payments

1. Fees for new members are payable at the time of application. Non payment will preclude application from being considered.
2. Renewal fees are due and payable on January 1 of each year. All privileges of the Club are automatically withdrawn after mid-night on January 31st, if fees have not been paid.
3. Annual fees (except for Temporary members) may be paid in two installments only, the first of which must be either 25% (3 months) or 50% (6 months) of the set Annual fee. The remaining payment thereafter will be for the remaining amount due, ie.75% (9 months) or 50% (6 months) of the set Annual fee.
4. Pro-rata fees for new members only apply after March 31st of each year. This clause does apply to members from previous year(s).

Key Draw Rules

Financial Family(adults), Single and Country member ONLY are eligible for the weekly Key Draw.

Guests

Madang residents may be signed into the Club on only three(3) occassions per year by a Financial Adult Member ONLY, as (defined by Key Draw Rules), unless attending an organised function for which an entry fee charge is made.
